Best marketing agencies in Los Angeles, CA

How to choose a marketing agency in Los Angeles

89 of the 93 rated marketing agencies in Los Angeles hold a 4.5 or better, so almost everyone looks good at first glance. These are the checks that separated them in our data.

Count the reviews behind the rating

The median Los Angeles marketing agency has 14 Google reviews, and 13 have 50 or more. Our score pulls thin ratings toward the city average, so a handful of five-star reviews cannot lift a business to the top.

See whether they can rank themselves

For an agency that sells search marketing, appearing for its own service is the clearest proof it can do the job. 12 of 69 checked reach the first page of Google Maps for “seo agency near me”. Teams of 11 to 50 did it 21% of the time, against 12% for teams of ten or fewer.

Ask about tenure and the team

The median here has been in business 13 years, and 2 are under five. Newer businesses can be good value; ask for recent results from a client like you.

Questions to ask before you sign

• What will you report monthly, and how will we judge progress?
• Can I speak to a current client in my industry?
• What happens to my website, ad accounts and content if we part ways?
• Is there a minimum contract term?
